This or that
Eight new anime face off two at a time until one champion is left. Every duel nudges your next stacks a little.
ANIME FOR RIGHT NOW ISSUE 001
Your list knows your taste. Your mood changes every day. AniMood sits in between: a short stack for tonight, a notebook that remembers, and a Wrapped as each season ends.
WHAT IS ANIMOODKON'YA · TONIGHT
Most anime sites hand you a catalogue. AniMood hands you tonight: a short stack picked from how you feel right now and what you have loved before. Choose one, press play, and your notebook remembers how it went.
Not a feed to scroll through. A few good options, then a decision.
Private by default. It learns from what you choose and what you skip.
Taste Match is optional and only for adults.
HOW A NIGHT WORKSKIBUN · MOOD
Tap a mood, or fine-tune four dials: energy, tone, length and risk. Name a craving, choose how recent, skip what you never want to see, and the stack follows. Adult titles are never shown.
A cosy night: low energy, gentle tone, not too long.
Cosy, Hype, Heavy, One sitting or Surprise me. One tap is enough.
Right for tonight, left to pass, or Save for another evening. Series start at season one, and each choice sharpens the next card.
Watch wherever you watch: AniMood is the notebook, not the player. Tap a card for where to stream it, the trailer and the Japanese voice cast.
Next time, it asks how your pick went, or reads it from AniList if you link it. Not for you? Say what didn't work. Real reactions teach it more than swipes.
TRY A STACKERABU · TO PICK
Six popular titles from AniMood's catalogue, the same for everyone today. Drag a card right for tonight or left to pass, or use the buttons under the card. Save puts a card aside for later. Nothing is stored unless you create your shelf, and then your picks move in with you.
A sample stack is on its way.
Drag left to pass, right for tonight, up to save, or press ← ↑ →
Eight new anime face off two at a time until one champion is left. Every duel nudges your next stacks a little.
One question first: about 30 minutes, one evening, or the start of a series? Then this or that, round by round, until one title from your shelf is left. Losing a round changes nothing.
Saved too much? Go through it one title at a time: keep it, let it go, or mark it watched. Nothing is ever deleted automatically.
YOUR NOTEBOOKCHŌ · NOTEBOOK
Tonight, Saved, Finished, Passed: your notebook keeps all of it. Five notes give you a taste title, and by about two dozen your taste map is fully drawn.
Link AniList and your history shapes the very first stack: scores, rewatches, studios and voice actors. No list? Answer a few quick questions instead.
Finish a title on AniList, or in an app that updates it for you, and your notebook follows. The sync only reads. AniMood writes to AniList only if you switch that on, and then only the list status.
Notebook → Taste shows what drives your picks and how your taste has shifted, plus every “Less like this” you gave, each one easy to take back.
Every anime has its own page. Send the link to anyone, or straight to a match.
The taste map names your pattern in a line, for example: You follow the feeling. Momentum matters. You like a stranger world. You notice the small moments.
An illustration. Yours is built only from your own notes, and every bar is relative to your strongest signal.
WRAPPED · EVERY SEASONKISETSU · SEASON
On the first day of a season's last month, your Wrapped opens: the season told as an episode, from your notes and, if you link it, your AniList list. From 1 December there is one for the whole year too.
Episode title cards and an eyecatch, then the titles, hours, genres and studios of your season.
The Japanese voice actor you heard in the most titles, when the casts are known.
An isekai-style status window with your level and class, ending credits, and a 次回予告 preview of what to watch next.
Music and sound effects stay off until you turn them on. Only you see your Wrapped, and images you share are drawn on your device.
An example status window: level 12, class Sage, with bars for intellect, magic, charm and nerve.
An illustration. Yours is drawn from your own season.
TASTE MATCH · 18+ · OPTIONALEN · CONNECTION
Taste Match stays off until you turn it on, and it is only for people aged 18 or older. Choose what you are looking for:
Swap recommendations and talk about last night's episode.
Someone to watch along with, one episode at a time.
Meet someone who gets your shelf. Dating profiles only meet other dating profiles, and only with your explicit consent.
Nobody sees your card until you go live. Chat opens only after a mutual yes. Hide your card any time; your notebook stays private either way.

QUESTIONSTOI · QUESTION
Yes, and there are no ads. AniMood is a small project run by one person, not a business built on your data.
No. An AniMood account needs only a name and a password. You can link AniList later from your notebook to bring in your history, or answer a few quick questions instead.
No. Link AniList and your notebook keeps itself in step: when you open AniMood, it reads your list if its copy is more than two hours old (Sync now reads it right away) and copies the status and episode progress of your notebook's titles and of anything that changed on AniList lately. So whatever updates AniList for you, Taiga included, shows up here. The sync only reads, and you can switch it off in Notebook → Settings. The privacy notice explains what it copies and keeps.
Only if you ask it to. Writing to AniList is off until you enable it. Then you choose where Saved and Tonight picks go, and AniMood changes only the list status, never your scores, episodes or rewatches.
Other members never see it. If you join Taste Match, people whose taste overlaps with yours see the card you publish, such as your name, intro, languages, taste title and the titles you share. Privacy settings let you hide the detailed overlap and shared titles.
Only if you want it to be. It is for adults, and you choose between anime friends, a watch buddy or dating. Dating profiles only meet other dating profiles, and dating needs your explicit consent. Chat opens only after you both say yes.
Your season as an anime episode: your titles, hours, genres and studios, the voice of your season, a status window, ending credits and a preview of what to watch next. It opens on the first day of each season's last month, and from 1 December for the whole year. It is put together when you open it, only you see it, and images you share are drawn on your device. The privacy notice explains what Wrapped reads.
Eight: English, Czech, Slovak, German, Polish, Spanish, French and Japanese. It follows your browser until you pick one at the bottom of the page or in Notebook → Settings. Anime titles, synopses and AniList tags stay as AniList provides them.
Yes, it is made for phones first. You can install it like an app: on Android, open the Chrome menu and choose Install app; on iPhone, tap Share in Safari, then Add to Home Screen.
Yes, both, on your own. In Notebook → Settings → Privacy settings you can export your data or delete your account; the delete account page works too, from any browser. Deleting removes your notebook, Match profile, photos, chats and AniList link, and the nightly backups lose it within 30 days. The privacy notice lists what is kept and for how long.
YOUR SHELF IS WAITING
A name and a password is all it takes. Link AniList later, or never.
